Your Theory Test
The theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple choice part and the hazard perception
The multiple choice part is delivered using a touch screen computer and the hazard perception part records your responses through the use of a computer mouse button. You need to pass both parts to pass the theory test
If you pass one part and fail the other you will fail the whole test, and you will need to take both parts again
Highway Code
You can make your theory test much easier . . . The Highway Code is essential reading when you're learning to drive. It contains all of the rules of the road and regulations for driving in the UK
Hesitancy
Don't drive too slowly . . . try to keep up with the traffic flow, but remember the speed limit! A common mistake is to try to be extra careful because the examiner is in the car with you! Always try to anticipate what might happen in good time. Whenever you can, get the car up towards the speed limit . . . but the speed limit is a maximum. So slow down if other dangers are present
